As you will be aware, the severity and transmissibility of the COVID-19 infection has been under heavy scrutiny by the World Health Organisation. The outbreak was declared a public health emergency on 30 January, and a global pandemic on 11 March.


As a business, we are committed to protecting people, and want to reassure you that we are taking steps to remove potential risk factors, both for you with your day-to-day interactions with us, and for our colleagues to ensure their own safety is protected.

 

ENI Engineering are hard at work in an attempt to limit any customer impact and of course keep our team safe. As a result you will notice the following:

  • We have been in contact with all our suppliers and at this point they do not see any changes in the next few weeks, however this can change at any time and we will keep you abreast of any changes.
  • We value our relationships with our customers and suppliers but at present our team will, where possible, conduct all account management and meetings over the phone to avoid unnecessary face to face time.
  • If visiting ENI, we ask you to use the hand sanitiser at the entry points before entering the premises.
  • Our team have been advised to minimise exposure while at customer sites and will always aim to keep a distance of 1.5 metres from others, as well as refrain from handshakes/welcome gestures.

While we cannot foresee the long-term impact of the Coronavirus, as a business we continue to work hard to minimise the potential threat to our team and customers. As the situation continues to evolve, our priority will be the health, safety and well-being of our team and customers.
