A modular approach to bus shelters
We have a range of public shelters available that can be customised through a modular system. For this bus shelter by the Christchurch mall ‘The Palms’, we have worked closely with Christchurch City Council. Our team were involved from the project planning and manufacturing, right through to delivery and on-site installation.

Modular design
We have over 25 years of experience in
the public infrastructure sector. Over the years, we have developed a modular system for shelters, our IVO system. The modular approach ensures resource gains throughout the manufacturing process while leaving enough room for customisation.
Manufacturing of components
The frame of this shelter by The Palms is made from aluminium to make it durable and affordable. The roofline is galvanised to protect the most erosion-prone area of the construction. All metal components
of the shelter were powder-coated in our factory, adding an aesthetic finish and extra protection for the material.
On-site installation
After the manufacturing process, all elements of the shelter were flat-packed and delivered to the location. Our very own assembly team installed the structure on-site.
